June 4th we went back to see Dr. Fearon and the anthropologist (who takes specialized measurements for Dr. Fearon). Lila did great even though we were back at the hospital. We weren't sure how she would do, but she did fine and had a pretty good time even. He said she is healing well and he doesn't need to see her again until next April (I believe he follows up once a year for a long while). PTL!!!
One of my all-time favorites - isn't she breathtakingly beautiful?!
And she's just as awesome if not more so on the inside!!!
I asked her if she wanted to wear shorts and a shirt or a dress. When she said a dress I
started to pull one out of her closet and she quickly corrected me and said No! Snow White! We even have a red headband now.
super cool nurse at the Craniofacial Clinic of Dallas that is
the resident expert on the baby starfish. The boys got to see how much they've
grown since Lila's surgery, and even see her feed them!
Super wild and cool spider starfish curled up behind coral.
Okay, that's enough. Back to DS's...no time to look
up and smile for a split second, mom.
photos again of our beautiful girl
the whale...
Benjamin conquered running up the back.
Okay, Lila had help.
And I have about 15 pictures of a black whale all by himself because I kept missing the top
of Scotty's head before he would fall back down the back again. So a mysterious force helped him
to the top - SUCCESS!!!!
Thumb Wars...courtesy of Wendy's kids meal.
She looks like she's asking what in the world happened
here?!?! even though she didn't.
What a happy girl, even after all she went through.
