HOWDY!!!!

How's that for a Texan in China!

We are having a great trip - Lila is sweeter in person and has bonded well to both of us. At first she was a real Daddy's girl but has sometimes switched to needing Mama near at all times.

Her physical went well and we check on her TB results tomorrow.

Today we visited the Yuntai Garden and it is really pretty. Lila rode in a stroller and walked up ANY stairs that came up - she loves to climb. Oh, and she likes water - just like her brothers.

The trip is going by really fast - our internet access has been spotty, hence the reason our blog isn't up to date. We hope everyone is having a great weekend and can't wait to see everyone.

Well, the Hyland Family has grown to five. Our beautiful daughter is as sweet as can be and a loving angel that is the perfect little mei mei for our two sweet boys. She even took a nap her first day with us! 

 



 

The orphanage staff brought Lila to the provincial office in Changsha to a special meeting room.

A First Time for Everything

Welcome!  This is our first time trying a blog, but it's high time we did.  We are about to travel to China to complete the adoption of our third child and bring her HOME!  But then, the adventure continues because she will need major surgery within the first few months home.  We also have two extremely handsome and lively young boys who are growing, learning, keeping us young, and anxiously awaiting the arrival of their mei mei, or little sister.  We know lots of family and friends want to know what's going on and how we are doing.  This is our attempt at filling you all in.
